There's a new-inch tablet on the block, the Kobo Arc. The good news is that the number of tablet users i constantly on the rise, and as people look for greater portability, we don't think the demand for 7-inch tablet is going to reduce any time soon. So we are pitting the Kobo Arc against two of the most popular tablets in the same category- the Nexus 7 and the iPad Mini, to see if it stands a chance in making  mark.

Kobo Arc: The Kobo Arc has a screen similar to the Nexus 7 - it is of 7-inches and has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It's powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. On the downside, it runs on Android 4.0 ICS, so in terms of the OS, is relatively older than the other 2 devices. The Kobo  Arc has a 2 MP front-facing 720p HD camera and is available with either 8 GB or 16 GB internal storage.

Google Nexus 7:

This tablet sure made headlines when it first launched early last year. A few months down the line, Google decided to give its bestseller an upgraded, making sure that it had enough features to stay on top of the game. The Nexus 7 features as a gorgeous 7-inch full HD display having a resolution of 280X800 pixels. It's powered by a quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It runs on the latest Android Jelly Bean version, and lets you enjoy the best that Google's popular OS has to offer. The Nexus 7 has only 1 camera - a 1.2 MP one in the front. There's a 16 GB model as well as a 32 GB model, but the tablet comes with a microSD card slot, so you never have to worry about running out of space.

Apple iPad Mini: 

This one has a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 1024x786 pixels. The iPad Mini's slightly lesser in terms of power, with an Apple A5 dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. In terms of camera, we have to give more points to the iPad Mini, thanks to its 5 MP rear camera in addition to 1.2 MP front-facing camera. The iPad Mini is available in 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB as well as 64 GB models, but unfortunately lacks a microSD card slot - so you're stuck with the international storage.
