As per the reports of uSwitch.com the handset which ruled the throne in December was none other than Samsung flagship model the Samsung Galaxy S III. The device was followed by the Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Ace. Google Nexus 4 quietly took its fourth position and as a surprise iPhone5 was on the 5th place in terms of popularity and sales.The other phones which made to the list were Nokia Lumia 800, Samsung Galaxy Note2 and Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. So these were the top phones in December. What we are wondering is that which phone will rule the roost in the month of January.
According to Ernest Doku, telecoms expert at uSwitch.com, says that the return of BlackBerry with the introduction of the new BlackBerry 1 IOS, new "turbo-charged" Android models and some new Windows Phone 8 devices are going to create some waves in the smartphone market. "What is certain the smartphone battle ground is going to heat up with the introductions of new phones in New Year.
